Is there anything more satisfying than going on a night drive?

Especially one with no destination. Just you, the road, and maybe some music. The stress of the day just melts away on freeway onramps, and now that I've taught myself how to heal-toe, the offramps are fun too. Canyons are fun too, but I try and avoid them at night.

Yeah.

There's a motorway near my home, and there's no speed limit. Sometimes when i have German car i tried to push it all the way to the limiter (250 km/h).

Actually there is. It's the early morning drive. I love being on the road at 4am, 5am, 6am on a roadtrip. You feel so productive, there's only a little traffic and driving in the morning dark is the best.

I don't know where she is, but around here we have miles of roads with little traffic. Moose don't care about silly human thingslike "headlights"/.

I love driving in the dead of night when no one is around. But like thebigbossyboss said, driving at sunrise or just before is better. I love driving when there is less light and less people on the road. Such a serene experience.

Also, kudos on having great taste in cars. For some reason lately I've been entertaining the thought of wrapping my E60 in some bright smooth orange color. I really like being under the radar, but that color just makes me excited for some reason.

I think a night ride is slightly better than a night drive. Less cars on the road, more solitude. I used to go out in the rockies on my BMW R100 after midnight often

I went for a little road trip over the weekend thru the white mountains in New Hampshire. I wasnt driving (my turn was back in June) but it was still awesome. Cruising at night is awesome but its nice being able to see the scenery and damn it looks like you have some out there.

I'm still mad at myself for not jumping at the chance I had to buy a Turbo Pumpkin. Called a dealership about another WRX and they had a SE available if I wanted it. I turned it down based on the base trim I wanted being about 3 grand less then the price they wanted for the SE, which amounts to the full black interior, addition of heated seats, and the special color and wheels. After having my car for 2 years, I really regret not having those things and feel like the 3 grand would have been worth it.

They'll always be around, and hopefully people will treat them right because they're special. You could always pick one up in the future though I don't think any are for sale in the USA currently.

Most of my friends view cars as only tools or as things to be actively avoided, it brightens my day when people are enthused by cars and know what mine even is. It's nice to know I'm not the only crazy one.
